Graphic representations of the interior of Norwich Castle… (minus the main floor, which I seem to have mislaid), used as part of the museums wayfinding graphics following their refurbishment… I did eventually watercolour these but I always preferred the spartan inks as they are here...

These were simply pencils on paper then inked on trace, scanned then tinted in PhotoShop. I did do a lot of drawing in the actual building so as to get my head around where everything would be going etc. ...especially the basement area, were the thick stone walls cause you to get slightly disoriented as you move from room to room.

I'm serious - your style and detail amaze me - I can get by with alot because it's vector and no one really expects alot of detail but this is great.

Question , right hand panel - bottom floor - circle in middle with girl sitting - right in front of the minature. - what are the two small ones inside the circle? is it a childrens play area?
just curious - you know I pour all over these when you submit them - looking at each little detail

Yeah... kinda like a ball pool... The whole of the previously unused basement area was turned over to "interactives", How to build a Norman Archway, Movement and transportation of Stone, Seige and Defence, and a whole bunch of board games etc...
