A short month... just four good old fashioned solid looking weeks... Of course it is peiced through its heart with the rusty, dirt coated dagger (in the eyes of us single folk anyhow) that is Valentines Day...

Still you can't have everything... plainly.

Moving on, but staying in the realm of "hearts", at least in the sense of nomenclature... I've recently added to my teaching schedule a friday afternoon spot teaching Games Designers (degree)... ideas about general Production Design, Drawing for 3D, Design Process, research, etc... I thought I'd better get stuck in and start designing my own Game... So... Here you have my first tentative steps towards "Rabbit Heart"... our hero (is it un PC thesedays to say heroine?), well, in my head she's a sort of a cross between Susy from Bill watterson's excellent Calvin & Hobbes and Noodle from the GorillaZ, blasted off by 50's style Rocket Ship to a distant planet filled with Cthulhu type creatures and trekking out on crazy adventures with her trusty sidekick, a gigantic Ninja, rabbit headed robot...

I'm still working out some of the details in my story ideas... but it will centre around the older ideas of The European Goddess figures...

Oh and I've uploaded a bunch of my sketches as I've helped present a couple of seminars recently on "What makes a good sketchbook "... and again to show willing I've decided to keep 1 a month, the uploaded images are from December and January's books...
